Ben James is an experienced producer, director, videographer, and editor specializing in documentary and music story telling. In 2013, he joined Centresource Interactive Agency in Nashville to build a video department from scratch. That team started small but was able to win a Telly Award with their very first produced video. From 2007-2012, Ben was the head of Yamaha Entertainment Group's film division. There he was video producer for Sir Elton John's newest concert film, "The Million Dollar Piano," and was director of photography for the accompanying documentary about the genesis of his new Vegas show. He has worked with many other music professionals including: Alicia Keys, Sarah McLachlan, Jason Mraz, Isaac Slade of The Fray, Questlove of The Roots, and many more. In 2013, he returned from India producing and directing a documentary about horror of human trafficking in the heart of Asia's largest red light district. There he was able to train five men, who grew up as children living in the brothels of the red light district and runaways, the techniques of film production and continues to work with them remotely as they formed the video team for a local non-profit in the heart of the district, rescuing women and children out of human trafficking.
